The Loretta's Project: Training Under Nuclear Power
Willing to achieve is not willing for success, but perseverance. Perseverance is the first of many qualities I noticed when I first met Kevin Moranz for the first time at Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championship a few years back. He is fast on a dirt bike, but his courage and determination will make him a champion whether it’s in motocross or in whatever he chooses to do in life.
As one of several ‘Road to Loretta’s’ video features we will be producing this year, we chose Moranz to be the first piece because we believe he has the potential to achieve a bit more in terms of results at the 2017 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Loretta Lynn’s AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship.
We followed Moranz for the day at Club 57 MX in Byron, IL training under the strict direction of Brad Jerominski. After a rainy night, the track was soupy for corner speed training. You won’t see a typical motocross video full of whips and big air here; rather you will see what it takes to compete on the biggest stage of amateur motocross.
